Recently wrongfully terminated from Home Depot as of 7/18/22. As a former employees / supervisor of 6 years with home depot i have endured several instances of racial profiling and harassment. As of recent i reported unfairness and harassment or management in my store. Even after doing so i asked a manager for assistance with some things at the job , and he replied to me “ he would help me but i might call human resources on him”. With that comment i reported as well to another manager of home depot. Since that report i have become a walking target for home depot. Nothing was done in regards to any reports i brought awareness too, let alone the manager for retaliation. I have had sarcastic comments made to me on several occassion where i addressed them with my former manager and nothing was to come of them. I was lead to work in an enviornment feeling hopeless everyday. As of 7/18/22 i was wrongfully terminated based on the allegations of so called associates saying i use profanity to them, which is false. I have several associates in the work location that have reported the unfair treatment of my handling and termination as of this morning. I strongly believe i was targeted because i am a African American male / single father because of my race / tattooing. In which none are offensive. There is so much unfair treatment and wrong doing within the Home Depot and now i am left to figure out how i am going to provide for my  kids.  My former manager has verbally harassed / intimidated & threatened me on 7/14/22 in the presence of the assistant store manager i have recently reported for retaliation. This is a on going tactic used within the home depot further proving racial profiling and discrimination.  Further more assuring me that nothing was done as i reported that manager for retaliation. The intimidation method as having this manager present for a discussion , knowing i made this report further proves the personal relationship between them, and to they will continue to walk and cross the lines of peoples rights.
