Wrigley was my mini Dachshund who was attacked and killed by 3 pit bulls when he was only 6 months old. These dogs went under a fence and into another yard, killing my puppy. I was in the backyard with him, and while trying to get the pit bulls to let go of him, they ended up biting me. All three dogs got a strike for biting me, but nothing for what they did to my puppy. My dog lost his life, and those dogs have no consequence for what they did. I feel that if another animal is killed or harmed in anyway by another animal, they should get one strike for what they have done. After 3 strikes, an animal is Euthanized. No one wants to euthanize an animal, but if they have 3 strikes/incidents where they hurt another person or animal, the pattern shows that it will not stop. The other part of this law, being that if any animal gets 1 strike, they must do training classes to try and change the dogs behavior.
