PETITION ON BEHALF OF THE UNDERSIGNED MEMBERS OF WRFGA
We, the undersigned members of Western Reserve Fish & Game Association petition the Board and Trustees to follow the bylaws, club rules and Robert’s Rules of Order and that immediate steps be taken to vacate the improper actions that were made to remove John Vogel as the duly elected Treasurer and that no further acts be attempted to remove him from office or to dis-enroll him as a member in good standing. The signed members attest that they are harmed and aggrieved by the failure of elected officials to follow the referenced laws and rules.
As dues paying members of Western Reserve Fish and Game, who are concerned that their own efforts to build and maintain the club’s reputation and over all well being, we call for an immediate correction by the Board and Trustees to insure Sportsmanship, Fellowship and forward progress by immediate proper application of the bylaws and other protections that John Vogel was denied at the February 9 meeting. We call for an immediate public correction of the wanton and capricious disregard of due process by a minority of the total membership that was conducted and supported by the officers. We call for strict adherence to the Bylaws and Robert’s Rules of Order in any and all matters as serious as the removal of a lawfully elected member of the Board.
Please note the following examples of gross breeches of the rules:
1) Legitimate motions to table the motion to remove John were ruled out of order during the membership meeting by the president.
2) Charges against John were not supported by evidence.
3) John was not afforded due process of defending himself of the false allegations directed at him.
