Here's homelessness in Montreal.

People are always losing their jobs which would make them have no money income. Some people are just born into it, they were always poor and never had a way to get started. Some people need money for food and warmth and can't afford a house. 

Homeless people are people who don’t have enough money to live in a closed personal environment. Who needs to live in someone else's place without paying rent or in worse cases, need to live on the street. People who have very little money and need it for survival and can’t spend it on rent. 

We need more affordable housing and just more places to live in general, houses, condos, apartments and non expensive hotels. Also all these living spaces are made for homeless people until they can get started and be able to live somewhere else and actually pay for it. We need more shelters, we also need more specific shelters. Shelters where kids can get an education, shelters that can help with addictions like alcohol, drugs and any kind of smoking. Shelters for depression and mental health. Now obviously these things exist but we need more of it, we need people to fund this problem and help make it stop so that we don't need shelters. We need people in power to fund and donate for more shelters and helpers. 

We need the mayor of Montreal, or people who work for the government that specialize in homelessness, or even just people who have a lot of money who can donate and help. We need these people to help and stop this problem. 

If this problem is left unsolved more people's lives and futures will be ruined by more than just starving or freezing but by their mental  health and other issues like addictions they may have or injuries they can’t afford to take care of or diseases they can't afford to treat. If they have kids, their lives will be ruined as well because they will have trouble making a life for themselves or even get a solid education. 

We care because every year we see countless homeless people, adults, children, even their pets by their side starving and freezing on the street who deserve to live with a roof over their heads not sitting on the street asking for money or even just a bite to eat or a water bottle. We also like it when people are given gifts on holidays and their smiles are bigger than ever because they got a book or a sweater and imagine how big their smiles would be if they people could help them be able to buy themselves 5 sweaters and be able to eat anytime they want or even get to play a sport they've been wishing to play but couldn't afford. This is why we need to make this change and help the homeless.
