If you ask most people in Ontario they would probably be surprised to know that there are badgers in Ontario. This petition is striving to change this. The goal is to cause awareness, to increase badger population, and even help other species in the badger's habitat. A little bit of your time could benefit many important ecosystems in southern Ontario.

There is only approximately 200 badgers left here in Ontario. The main problem to there population is believed to be farmer fields. Also, the badgers main food source groundhogs are deemed pest so they're exterminated which is another problem for badgers living in Ontario. If donations were given and space the world wildlife fund could create more parks to raise badger populations in Ontario.
