Rename Hurricanes After The Companies That Cause Them

Global warming is having a huge impact on the severity of natural disasters. Despite this, many of the large companies that are furthering climate change with their extreme pollution aren’t being held accountable - in fact, you’ve probably never heard of most of them.
We are starting a petition to rename Hurricanes and other natural disasters after the corporations fuelling the devastation, rather than the friendly names they currently have like 'Harvey'.
After each new disaster, the corporation with the highest greenhouse gas emissions at the time will be held to account. So the recent Hurricane Irma would become Hurricane Gazprom - currently one of the world's worst polluters.
Renaming natural disasters after the worst offending companies like Shell, BP, Chevron, Saudi Aramco and Gazprom, will bring them back into the public eye - encouraging governing bodies to sanction them, and other culprits to reduce their emissions to avoid an impending PR storm.
