Make Computer Typesetting Great Again

In 1979, Professor Donald Knuth decided to make a change to how us humans distribute knowledge. Disgruntled with the low quality of digital bookmaking, Knuth produced a revolutionary system for "typesetting", the art of turning text into easy-to-consume books, creating the TeX system. Knuth also produced a set of fonts, the Computer Modern typefaces, which have been used for decades to produce high quality text and equations by university students, hobbyists and professors alike.

It is time this knowledge was passed onto the commoners, and that instead of terrible faces like Comic Sans and Times New Roman we save the face of bookmaking and use the most eye-pleasing styles known to humans.

Should we win, the Computer Modern typefaces will make their way to every device that exists, and people will collectively awe for the newly found beauty in their writing. Should we fail, humans will be doomed into terrible system fonts like Segoe UI, Droid Sans and Helvetica Neue, causing eye strains all over the world.

We ask the world's leaders to come to peace to institute these life-saving changes.
