Punjab, land of five rivers, stares at a water crisis

Punjab (India), known in history as land of five rivers, has been facing a major water crisis because of “fast depleting and polluted underground water and polluted rivers”. No government is serious about it. In coming 20-30 years it will become a desert. Out of 138 blocks in the state 103 are over exploited, 5 more are critical and 4 are semi-critical, as per the Central Ground Water Board (CGWB).  Please support to SAVE PUNJAB. #savepunjab
