The humanist, secular, voice needs to be heard to defend against narrow, faith based groups who seek to diminish hard won freedoms and set us back on our path to genuine equality.

I do not want to see religious psychopaths influencing the young of Britain. Religious education is purely and simply child abuse!

Iedereen die normaal kan denken, moet het wereldse geweld op alle fronten toch wel zat zijn. Na een oorlog roept iedereen altijd "wij hebben gewonnen". Hoezo? Heeft niemand de slachtoffers en de vernielingen gezien?

"If a believer demands that I, as a nonbeliever, observe his taboos in the public domain, then he is not asking for my respect, but for my submission."

~ Flemming Rose

"And here is the point, about myself and my co-thinkers. Our belief is not a belief. Our principles are not a faith. We do not rely solely upon science and reason, because these are necessary rather than sufficient factors, but we distrust anything that contradicts science or outrages reason. We may differ on many things, but what we respect is free inquiry, openmindedness, and the pursuit of ideas for their own sake."

~ Christopher Hitchens

as a Hindu we do not divide humans into believers and non believers, do not have one book, set down in a particular time with one founder, we have been around since man first began to think some 6000 years ago so are not a religion as such.
