Use of the word HUMOR recently, as a Wordle answer, has made a mockery of the English language in the UK. It's shocking and disgraceful. Wordle has not only let down their investors and the good the people of this country, but they've let themselves down. It is a sad day.

Wordle should rectify this immediately. The game needs to be region specific. Being a browser based game it should be very easy for the developers to load a different version of the game depending on where the user is located from their browser data.

I for one, cannot stand idly by whilst Wordle rides rough-shot over our beloved language. Furthermore, in terms of the game as a competition, I refuse to be beaten by a North American simply because the game favours...or should I say favors...their simplified (albeit far more sensible) version of the language. I didn't get a first class HONORS degree in English Language for nothing. 

If Wordle doesn't do something about this heinous situation forthwith I shall be forced to write a strongly worded email to Susie Dent. I am fast losing my sense of humor.
