This petition is addressed to the Jt 4 Woods School administration and board members. 

The parents, students, and public petition the Administration and School Board to promptly vote OPTIONAL for mandatory mask wearing for children, visitors, as well as all the staff of our school. 

The mask mandate was overturned in the Wisconsin Supreme Court on March 30th, 2021. It is unlawful and unhealthy to require everyone to wear a mask. Every child, teacher, and visitor, should be allowed to breathe fresh air. Parents should be allowed to decide on the safety and well-being of their own children. 

We believe the medical decisions made for our children should be done by parents/families of the students, and not forced upon the students by any entity outside of that. Parents/families should be able to utilize their own risk assessment, considering all physical, mental, emotional and psychological risks and benefits when it comes to medical decisions, including masking.

By signing this petition, we officially and respectfully request you vote to make masks optional for the 2021-2022 school year.
