Students in our district who celebrate Eastern Orthodox Christmas on January 7th and Easter on April 24th,should be acknowledged by the district calendar and be given the same exact rights as the other students who celebrate different religions.We ask our district to close schools on January 7th in honor of Eastern Orthodox Christmas, to ensure students who celebrate it are not losing any valuable lessons.
