PETITION TO REINSTATE OUR ASSIDUOUS AND ACTIVELY ENGAGED PROPERTY MANAGER, Ashley Gilmore.

       We, the tenants, of the Marshfield Mobile Home Park- 2215 S. Maple Avenue in Marshfield, WI. are appalled by the unsubstantial termination of our Property Manager, Ashley Gilmore. To you she may have been just another employee, but to us, she was our voice, our reassurance of better things to come, our hope! She was not just an ordinary Manager, Ashley was OUR Property Manager! She was the change we needed. The change we have been yearning for, for a prolonged period of time. Most of us have been living in this park for 15+ years, and have experienced a massive amount of broken promises from previous managers, but not with Ashley. She has kept her word and has done more for this park in the last 8 months than the last 10 managers  have in our opinion. She involved herself outside of the office too, never afraid to get her hands dirty. She truly cared about the present and future of this mobile home park. She also cared about us. If we had a problem related to our residency that we couldn’t resolve, she made us a priority and we would figure it out together. We mattered. She had pure intentions to turn this park around in a positive manner, and we feel she was doing just that. She has made a beneficial impact to maintain this park. I remember her saying “Don’t forget that I am a tenant too.” That small statement is what distinguished her from the other managers we’ve had. Ashley’s strive is admirable and her determination, even more. She is a stubborn little thing, and she stood her ground, but never carried a superiority complex. Yes, she is persistent, yes she makes sure the rules are followed, and yes she was spunky at times but for the right reasons and only when she was absolutely adamant on the resolution for whatever situation had come her way! She made it clear that she is our Property Manager first, and friend second. She was very committed to her position, and it was apparent she put her all into this mobile home park. She fought for us when needed, and never batted an eye when we needed her. She listened. She actually listened to what we had to say, whether it be regarding our tenancy, or a personal matter. She turned this park into a community! Ashley has been the most active and involved Property Manager most of us have experienced in quite along time. She was easily and undeniably accessible in the office and by phone during the week, sometimes until after 6pm! Her phone was never off and regardless of time, she always answered Monday through Sunday!! Now remember she is a single mother of four children, and she still carried the weight of 200 tenants relying on her in stride, and we are highly disappointed that she lost her position due to false accusations. We kindly ask, could you please reconsider your decision and bring back the only ideal person suited for the betterment of the Marshfield Mobile Home Community?
