John Citizen started this petition to Woodcroft College

IPads are very restrictive. They cost a lot of money, and lack a lot of features. Things routinely don’t work, and are severely under powered. Luckily, there is an alternative. Android tablets from the likes of Samsung, Sony, Lenovo, Google, and more. Not only are there devices cheaper, but the amount of customisation they offer is outstanding. There are so many things you can do with these devices that simply cannot be done with iPads. And with these companies not being driven directly by money and what’s profitable, things like the headphone jack are sure to stick around for longer (This video explains its disappearance on the iPhones: https://youtu.be/PmTSN4zWeQ0 ). All the apps we have to use (at least in year 8) are available on the Google Play Store (Android equivalent of the App Store), I have checked them myself, and along with those, there are many more alternatives that are simply not available on the iPads. The only things that will not work on Android is Apple classroom (for which Google classroom is an alternative which works on both Android and iPads) and airplay/airdrop. I think Android tablets would be beneficial to people who don’t like, or can’t afford iPads.
