Won't you give Lubicon Lake their rights?

The rights of indigenous people must be protected.  Please, advocate for them to Prime Minister Stephen Harper of Canada.  Please, recognize the Lubicon Lake Nation as a sovereign nation with self government rights protected by Section 35 of the Canadian Constitution.  The Canadian government must recognize Bernard Ominayak as the duly elected chief and resume all funding agreements that were unilaterally canceled by the Department of Indian Affairs in September 2009.  In 1990, 2005 and 2007, the United Nations called on the Canadian government to end human rights abuses and return to good faith negotiations over land rights with the Lubicon Lake Nation. I urge you to respond to those rulings with a just and fair land settlement agreement, now.
