The only action which can secure a right in the United States of America is a Constitutional Amendment. The overturning of Roe vs Wade shows that without the rights of women being enumerated in The Constitution those rights will be taken away. This petition is to show our Senators and Representatives that we, the people, want an amendment to the constitution which ensures the rights of women to medical care of their choosing and as the final say on what happens to their bodies.

Any such amendment would need to protect the following:

A woman's right to bodily autonomy.

A woman's right to medical care under the law in accordance with that bodily autonomy.

A woman's right to make medical decisions on her own without the approval of a husband or age limitations for procedures that concern her body including but not limited to hysterectomy, body modifications, hormone therapy, birth control options, and abortions.

A recognition that the states rights to regulate medicine do not extend to the prevention of medical procedures.

Only as an Amendment to the Constitution will these rights be guaranteed. We can take the overturning of Roe vs Wade as an opportunity to secure these rights for all time's sake by pushing on our elected representatives to secure these rights via an amendment.
