Drop Abuser Jeremy McConnell! Women take stand!
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
Two women are killed every week in England and Wales by a current or former partner.
Domestic violence is a national problem; it requires a national response.
Last week, Stephanie Davis, a young woman in the public eye bravely stood in court against her ex-partner and father to her 7 month old baby Jeremy McConnell for assaulting her as well as domestic violence and abuse issues.
Jeremy was found guilty, the judge returned a verdict for Jeremy's assault on his ex-girlfriend, handing him 20 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months.
Since leaving court, abuser Jeremy has been seen laughing and smiling as he left, been caught on video 'practising his punches' hours after being sentenced for assaulting Stephanie Davis, as well as being met by his friends in Dublin with signs that say ‘not guilty’. In the footage posted to one of his friend's Instagram profiles, the model was seen jabbing his fists and swinging a right hook at the camera as he enjoyed a boozy night out with pals.
It is appalling that Jeremy can disrespect the mother of his beautiful baby son but women worldwide who have suffered at the hands of an abusive relationship and partner.
Today we call for Jeremy’s management and PR teams to drop him with immediate effect. How BLVK and Nusic can continue to represent women on their rosters, whilst at the same time representing a convicted woman beater and abuser is disgraceful.
Any of his sponsors also need to stand up to the severity of domestic violence and pull out of any relationships they have left with Jeremy.
We ask you to all take a stand and sign this petition and unfollow him on his social media accounts to take a stand for all women united as one!
