Jymmy Kay Cox started this petition to Women's Professional Rodeo Association Members

We, the undersigned members of the WPRA in good standing who collectively hold at least 10% of the voting interests, hereby demand that the WPRA Board immediately repeal its secret 2018 bylaw amendment that denies the members their right to determine who holds the office of WPRA President; this includes repealing the 2018 amendments to Chapters 2 and 4 and restoring the pre-amendment text.

We propose that the bylaws of the Association be amended to eliminate the Board-appointed and salaried CEO position and to restore the office of President to an elected position fully accountable to the members, effective immediately.  The text of the proposed amendment includes the verbiage of  2.2 (2.2.1 - 2.2.3) of the 2017 WPRA Rulebook, thereby returning WPRA President requirements, the election process and President's responsibilities, etc., to those listed in our WPRA Rulebook prior to the 2018 bylaw change.

If the Board declines to adopt this proposed amendment, then we hereby immediately invoke our right to seek adoption by action of the membership, taken by written ballot or other lawful means.
