It has become common to hear the news about rape case. Even we hear the news about rape of a 8 yr old child.

But what are the actions taken for its punishments? The victim faces embarrassment, lots of talks are spread like "isn't it her fault to go out so late? Isn't it her fault to talk with those boys? Isn't it her fault to say something on his face?".

Whereas for the criminal, he gets punishment for atmost 10 years imprisonment or can be extended to life long imprisonment and fined. But if this would have been affective then rapes wouldn't have been occurred like this.

I would like to make an appeal. Can we make the punishment to some more extent? Can't the punishment be like death penalty instead of life long imprisonment? Or like with the imprisonment years now we have, he would be punished with the removal of sex organs?

Whatever the punishments, they should be taken within 1 week and they should be made to create fear within people to not dare to do such cruel things again.
