We, Muslim women do not want government recognition of religious
Marriages. We are content with whatever the Shariah (Islamic) orders.
The Shariah is the Divine Law to which we submit. Government
recognition will create a host of problems and hardships for Muslims.
We Muslim Women are grateful that we are free to practice our religion in this country.
The government has not imposed any conditions or restrictions in terms of us practising our religion .
