The paper set today by the WJEC was irrelevant to the syllabus given to the teachers and students. Students not taking chemistry or a maths based subject were at a disadvantage. The paper was not a true reflection of a biology students ability, testing them in areas of other subjects. The questions were confusing and didn't directly present the problem to the student, and there was insufficient time to figure out the solution.
