Throughout the summer of 2017/18, the homeless community of Brisbane could not access clean, quality water in bulk. Further, whilst the workers of the CBD often went to hospital due to lack of electrolytes, dehydration and other symptoms related to lack of water in take, no attention was given to the hundreds of homeless who ended up in emergency rooms around Brisbane City. Be Arti, a web development agency, has been reaching out to the Labor Government of QLD, chemists and other related organisations to supply water bins, with electrolytes to parts of the Brisbane CBD no organisation paid it any attention. The NRL have water bins that they use to store Gatorade for their players at the side of the footy field - these are the bins that are envisaged to be acquired maintained and monitored.

The homeless community deserve clean water: this is a human rights issue.
