It's unnecessary to showcase this, it just fuels further racism (which still exists and is going strong, just the other day my white-Belgium boss told me that she feels "racist towards Indians" without knowing I was half Indian myself). This kind of exhibit will give racists a kick just as the original "human zoos" did.

Such practises should be viewed as a direct attack on the future of how we as menalin strong, Caribbean / African / Black british people are viewed by the rest of the world!

This is not about art but an insult in the fact of every black and brown people. we have all read about it, some lived it, but now art is shackling people to be displayed...where is the art in that. Barbican, have you considered what your ethnic minority staff feel being degraded. As it its not a struggle enough in the modern world.
