I live in the Fox Cities area and through what I'm going to school for, to the different experiences I've had here; it's been known that hunger is a strong issue in this area for many people. I would love to not only work throughout the state with struggling cities, but my community- to fight hunger, by donating fridges, so people can periodically leave food in the fridge for someone else to take. Leave what you can, take what you need kind of situation. While I've seen other cities in other states doing something similar to this, I've never seen anything like this in Wisconsin anywhere, and I do think with the harsh winters we face, food on top of trying to stay warm with freezing temperatures, should not be an issue.  From the videos I've seen with a similar concept, they leave the fridges on a more mainstream area(sidewalk), and people donate from there.  I do believe this is a phenomenal idea that would greatly impact not only my community that I currently reside in, but every community these are placed in.
