Reduce the number of immigrants entering NZ to help Kiwis find good jobs and houses

New Zealand is facing a major crisis with tens of thousands of people flooding into the country for work and residence. The people entering are flooding the jobs market with cheap labour and forcing Kiwis out of the job market making it much harder for New Zealanders to find a job, and lowering the average wage for workers as employers can easily find cheap workers which lowers the quality of life for native born New Zealanders. With unemployment at 5.2( As of January 2017) why in 2016 did we invite 69,000 immigrants into New Zealand? This puts huge strain on the jobs market and housing markets. I'm looking to petition the New Zealand parliament to reduce the amount of people migrating to New Zealand looking for work so that New Zealanders can find work easier. This should help improve the quality of life that we as Kiwis deserve in a well developed country. Lets make a change that will help make New Zealand lives better. I care about New Zealand and New Zealanders and I've met too many people who cant find work due to the huge amount applications employers receive. I talked to a few homeless people in Auckland and most of them had trades but still couldn't find work forcing them into the streets. Is highly upsets me that New Zealanders cant find work in their own country despite the fact they are qualified. This needs to change and I need your help to petition Parliament to help these people find work so they can afford to not just survive but thrive in our beautiful country. Thank you for your consideration
