Give students the best chance of showing their skills in E-Sports.
Winslow High School has finally had the inclusion of E-Sports into the rotation of what students can do as an extracurricular activity. Though not without any downsides, Students who were interested were quite disappointed to see the small selection of games. This is due to Winslow's High School decision to be partnered with the AIA. Some students who were up for the school to have an E-Sports team had another idea in mind for who the school could have partnered with. Students recommended for the school to partner with a countrywide gaming league called HSEL, This offers all mainstream consoles and multiple games ranging from E to M. This is the best option for students who already have skills on their preferred consoles and their preferred games, rather than having the students need to completely pick up new consoles and new games. Along with the best chance for students to be saught out by colleges and have a large chance to gain scholarships. Though it's not sanctioned by the AIA the school can easily use that as a framework for what the team has to be. Whether the Administration agrees with it or not the AIA is not what students for their E-Sports teams. Please help students get what they want and give students a better chance to get scholarships and a future.
