There is currently little or no space for children to play within the development and they are essentially being pushed onto the roads, which is a serious accident just waiting to happen.  This will be exacerbated when the final phase of building completes next year, with yet more children and more cars on the road.

Fingal County Council and Winsac maintain that there is an abundance of open space in the wider development, however much of this 'abundance' will be across the busy distributer road with a 50km/ph speed limit.  Narrow strips of grass verge, hilly embankments and foot paths etc are all included in the 'open space' calculations.  This is unacceptable.  We need proper, level, green areas where children can play ball games, which are close to their homes and where their parents can keep a watchful eye - not 500 meters across a dangerous road.

Now is the time to demand that our developers Winsac, allocate some useful green space for our children to play in, before it is too late.  They can still do this and they will listen if a compelling amount of us sign this petition.

Please share, thank you.
