This petition is for our school crossing guard, Marsha Postle.We have recently been informed that the City of Winfield is abolishing her job due to budget cuts. She has faithfully been at her post in front of Winfield Middle School for 5 years. She has been an asset to our community not only to our bus operators but most importantly to the safety of our children. She has done a difficult job in a professional manner helping students cross Route 817 during the busiest times of the day especially when there are other businesses she has to watch out for. The students she helps feel much safer knowing she is there to help in any way and they have expressed that they look forward to seeing her everyday. Please sign this petition and share with friends and family so she can continue to do her job in keeping our children safe.
