Melksham Town Council are considering "mothballing" or closing Melksham Assembly Hall.
This is the only large venue for entertainments in the West Wiltshire, and is a vital and popular part of our community. It attracts visitors from outside Melksham and generates income for the night-time economy.
As a growing town we need this community venue.
