I live on a small estate called Holman court in plymouth on the estate live a lot of elderly residents, the flats were built in 1986 and after speaking to a resident who has been here since they were built, I was assured the insulation had never been changed. There for it’s at least 20 years past the date it should be changed.

now I have been ringing housing for 3 winters complaining of water running down my wall (from in between blocks as you can see the block work appear on the wall), my new units have gone green, windows going mouldy. Plus I only have 2 1980s storage heaters in the whole flat one of which hasn’t been working since before Xmas 2 weeks ago. 

I have tried and tried to sort this but I am being ignored everytime and as I have stated this has gone on for 3 winters now and not only my health but the health of other older resident as declined too, one of which has copd and been receiving the same problems for the past 4 winters! Something needs to be done as there’s no insulation or gas central heating or any gas at all for that matter in the whole estate.
