In 1988, Lucasfilm released the movie Willow. Directed by Ron Howard and starring Warwick Davis in the title role, the film told the story of Willow Ufgood, an aspiring magician who sets out on a quest to save Elora Danan, a young princess prophesied to end the cruel rule of the evil queen Bavmorda. The film has gotten such a large cult following that in 2022, a tv series will be released on Disney Plus. Between the time of the film’s release and the release of the TV series, three novels were released. Written by Chris Claremont, the trilogy tells the story of a grown up Elora as she travels to protect the world from an ancient evil. If all three novels were released as audio books, there would be more attention brought to the TV series.
