I have grave concerns about the proposed 252 home “Reeds Vale” subdivision to be built on land fronting on Lampkins Bridge Rd and Ladd Rd in Franklin, TN. 

Williamson County is such an amazing place – a trifecta of natural beauty, strong economy, and access to abundant shopping and resources. But we are quickly losing the foundational soul of the county: the farmlands and open spaces.   This tightly packed development is not in keeping with the surrounding area, it will add staggering amounts of traffic and county expenses, it will cause extraordinary changes in the local environment (water flow, light, noise, etc.), and forever change the quality of life for the existing homeowners in the area. 

I ask you to require this development to be worked as if the RD5 zoning were already in place.  The majority of this county’s residents endorsed the “Town and Country” plan a year ago. Then the Planning Commission endorsed it in February.  Then the County Commissioners endorsed it in March.  Please do not let this dense subdivision plan race through a rezoning delay brought on by a world pandemic.
