The Learning Post/Hart @ Home Class of 2020 has worked tirelessly over the past four years to achieve their academic goals, and we're finally nearing the end. We are no stranger to tribulation - Our class started high school in an age of school shootings, terrorism, and have now lost the significant, shaping last months of our high school experience due to this global pandemic. It's no one's fault that we can't get those experiences back: But we can still save our graduation ceremony.

LPHS/H@H seniors are being stripped of the opportunity to walk across the graduation stage, bursting with pride, family and friends beaming with admiration of our hard work. Not just for grades 9-12, but all of our years in school. This is an event every student deserves to have, and a virtual ceremony is nowhere near the same.

As a collective, the students of Hart @ Home/The Post are formally requesting graduation be postponed to a later date, even if occupancy limits must be downsized or if the traditional ceremony process must be altered. We would be beyond heartbroken to lose the celebration of this milestone.
