Stop the reduction of 202 South from one lane to two lanes entering Bridgeport

The Chester Valley Trail Association is seeking to connect the Schuylkill River Trail, which will create a significant trail system in Southeastern PA.  We are supportive of that trail.  However, in order to conjoin these two trails, the County and State are proposing to close one southbound lane on the DeKalb Street Bridge from the Norristown Transportation Center at Lafayette Street and Second Street in Bridgeport.  We are not supportive of this lane closure as we believe it will create significant traffic issues into our town.

We, the residents of Bridgeport, demand and alternative plan to connect the two trails that does not include the closing of a southbound lane on DeKalb Street Bridge.
