Hello,

My name is Rachel Appleby, I am starting this petition to see if we can get our Family, and many more Families favorite camping place back open. My family has been coming to the sliding rock for many generations, our children grew up coming here every summer/fall and it breaks our hearts to see it closed down. Grant it, we are still able to walk up to the sliding rock and swim and all. But let's be honest, there is nothing like waking up on a cool morning, making some over the fire coffee & cooking some good outdoors breakfast. Letting your kids wander around, making new friends, fishing in the creeks, or the kids watching the fish hatchery come up and stock up the creeks with trout fish. Spending time with your loved ones and making lots of memories. Our family misses this. We have talked to so many people at the rock over the summer who have said they wish it could get back opened. Our children are grown now, but they still love going camping here. If you and your family is ready to be back camping and making memories at Wildcat Creek sliding rock, please sign the petition so we can make this happen. Thank you!
