According to a survey conducted by the WiFi Alliance and Wakefield Research, based on writer Dian Schaffhauser's findings from campustechnology.com, "ninety percent of college students in the United States say WiFi access is as essential to education as classrooms and computers, and nearly three in five say they wouldn't go to a college that doesn't have free WiFi..." Moreover, seventy-nine percent of students from the survey claimed that without WiFi access, college would be much more difficult.
As such, given the imperativeness of WiFi for researching, communicating with professors via email, creating documents, and turning in assignments, among other functions, it seems senseless that college students must pay for such a crucial necessity. Please join me, in conjunction with the WiFi Alliance, to attain free WiFi for college students across the country.
