We, fans of Widespread Panic, call for an end to online bullying and hate in our community. This well known behavior is extremely damaging to the targets of this bullying and your ongoing hateful antics have no place in our community. We’re music fans for goodness sake. This abuse has gone on for years. There are well known leaders of this group of hate. We all know who you are. It’s not funny and you are doing real damage to real people who have done absolutely nothing to you. People you don’t even know. You are an ugly embarrassment to our community. We reject this behavior and we ask that you all stop attacking fellow fans for any reason.  You’ve done way more than enough damage and the community is fed up with all of you. The vast majority of fans want nothing to do with your antics. You’re just loud and mean so you get outsized attention for your miserable antics. To be really clear, harassing people for their sexuality, gender identity or disability is a serious crime. Interfering with someone’s marriage or relentlessly attacking someone with a chronic illness is despicable. You’ve done it over and over for years. We will not accept this bullshit any more.  Give it a rest!
