Grad students need a coffee maker!

Grad students need a coffee maker!
Why this petition matters
150 million Americans drink coffee, including several grad students here at Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.
Unfortunately our choices are limited due to the:
Lack of a coffee maker, affordable beverages within close walking range and accessible options within close range. Unlike the main campus, which boasts an actual Dunkin Donuts on-site, Whitman graduate students are left with very little options.
Whether it's spending $8-$10 for a coffee across the street or spending precious time waiting in line instead of physically being in the Whitman building, providing graduate students with a coffee maker just makes cents. Students are forced to decide between waiting in line for coffee that "starts their day off right" and, in some instances, making it to class on time. We shouldn't have to choose!
Furthermore, though we encourage supporting local small businesses, spending $8 per visit on average (or $120 a month) can be extremely costly for a student on a budget.
A coffee maker is affordable (a Keurig shuts off automatically is less than $100), available online or at most department stores. It would be maintained by graduate students, keeping it supplied with coffee and all the fixings that create that "perfect cup of joe".
All we ask is for the School of Management to purchase a coffee maker by December 1,2021. If you need suggestions, we will be happy to provide.
Thank you in advance!
