Ronald Dunbar started this petition to Whitewater Council Mayor Michael Moore,Reeve C Regier,C Olmstead,N Nicholson,D McLaug

It was recommended by Janet Collins Asset Management Coordinator in leaving the portion Garden of Eden Road from Haley Road (Cty. Rd. 61) to just past the entrance to civic address 2289 as surface treatment, being approximately 0.7 km. From civic address 2289 to Orin Road, the boundary with Horton Township, will be returned to gravel. This is approximately 2.5 km.
Garden of Eden Road meets Horton Township Boundary at Orin Road. Garden of Eden Road extends into Horton Township where it is a gravel surface. Orin Road is also a gravel surface. The only remaining surface treatment will be on Orin Road north (extension past Garden of Eden Road towards Hwy. 17) that serves one residence at
6 Orin Road.
To patch the road in its existing condition, staff estimate $1,200 of cold mix would be used. This cost does not include manpower or equipment to place the cold mix. This is allegedly past by council but phone calls to Collins and council have not been returned.

However in saving 1200 dollars yearly they would much rather spend 40,470 which at best is half of the actual cost.

it would take 33 years of cold patch saving to pay for the reckless expenditure.
