Reverse the decision to end City garbage collection for multi-family buildings which was made in secret with no public input.
This represents a hardship for the management and residents of multi-family buildings which house a large fraction of the population of White Rock. It is an arbitrary and badly thought out shifting of costs. The City is in a better position to negotiate lower cost garbage hauling contracts with private contractors than are a multitude of individual condo councils and building managers, so the total cost of this service will likely be higher than if the City were to continue to supply the service out of tax revenues.
