Another title: Give Denathor His Evil Flaming Basket Ball Of Death

This is not a malicious  petition but one to give an actor his due. I met John Nobel this weekend and found out he didn't have a Palantiri prop. If you havn't read the books Denathor (played amazingly by John Nobel) died in a pryre holding a Palantiri that had poisoned his mind

Appartently it had been too difficult to film or some such. Listening to him I felt the pain in this outstanding actors voice. You have to remember in the book this was a prime part of Denathors character and development. Other actors made off with all kinds of props. No foul on that. Weta do amazing work and if they want to give you a fine Rohan stool or mabey you accidentally have an an odd bit or bod fall into your bag as you head off set, more power to you!. Crumbs the movies made enough money :P

While some things get skipped or not filmed some actors read up on the literary verions of their characters, they know when they miss what would be an important part of their character or at least a great scene

They can't go back and film new bits (can they? I'm totally up for buying an extended, extended edition) but some things can help ease the pain

Weta Workshop, give John Nobel a Palantiti to ease the pain of that might have been. Be the cool and outright amazing company and creators we know you to be.
