It should be our choice

The class of 2018 is graduating this May. We all can’t wait to walk across the stage and get our diplomas. Westwood High School’s principal, Mario Acosta, proposed having our cap and gown orange. Our school colors are burnt orange black and white, but the cap and gowns aren’t burnt orange, but bright orange. We were expecting the black gowns since it makes everyone look great! This is the first year seniors are not allowed to choose the cap and gown colors. We believe we should be allowed to pick the color like past generations since it is the only time we will graduate from Westwood high school.
