Petition update

Emma Watson, J.K. Rowling & Sandi Toksvig have joined us to ask for a statue of a suffragette!

May 9, 2016 — Hello team!

Thank you all so much for signing the petition -- I can't believe how many of us there are!

Today we are one HUGE step closer to getting a statue of a suffragette in Parliament Square: our campaign is in the Telegraph, with an open letter to the new London Mayor, Sadiq Khan, asking him to keep his promise to be a feminist in City Hall and give us our statue.

The letter has been signed by the most amazing bunch of women, including Sandi Toksvig, Abi Morgan, Frances O'Grady, Anita Anand, Emma Watson and J.K. Rowling.

We've already had an approach from Westminster Council, and the letter is already one of the most read pieces on the Telegraph today despite only being released an hour ago -- but let's make it go properly viral!

Bring on 2018!
