A small group of local resident NIMBYs are opposing an attempt to make alfresco dining in Soho - introduced in the aftermath of Covid 19 - a permanent move. We the undersigned think that banning road traffic from the streets of Soho has been a hugely positive move. Cities, after all, are for people and not for cars and there should be no going back to the days when taxis, cars and rickshaws clogged the streets.
Al fresco dining in Soho has helped businesses and attracted millions of London residents and visitors back into the centre of London. Long may that continue.
