Move trucks to Grieve Parade instead of Millers Road as part of Westgate tunnel plans.

0 have signed. Let’s get to 500!

Under the proposed Westgate tunnel plans, Millers road will have an estimated additional 7,000 trucks on it per day (according to the government report). Millers road is in a residential area, which includes a child care centre and primary school. The additional truck traffic will have detrimental health affects to those who live in the area. It will also make access to Altona Gate Shopping Centre, Brooklyn, Altona North etc more difficult for those travelling from nearby areas.

It's currently difficult to cross Millers Road, which is the main exit out of Brooklyn during peak times. The proposed plans will have safety implications for residents.

I propose a change to Grieve Parade, a road that is not residential and is closeby.
