Dear Liverpool students and staff, stop losing $265 a semester on parking, create change and take control. Due to the relocation of nursing and social science units to Liverpool campus, Students and staff that drive to university are not offered fair parking conditions. This is the result of the lack of parking provided by the university, thus encouraging people to park at Liverpool Westfield. There is no guaranteed parking and it comes at a cost that many may not be willing to pay. Failing to offer an annual pass like other campuses creates inequality which results in students and staff spending on average an extra $265 dollars a semester.
- If you are parking at Liverpool a minimum of 3 days a week you pay $8 a day and attend 13 weeks a semester you pay $312. In comparison, a parking permit at all other campuses is $47 for half a year parking pass.
- We cannot stand for these inequalities and we need your help to address inequitable treatment of students and staff at Western Sydney Liverpool campus, please sign the petition below to help put money back in your pocket.
