Save our Cinema, Art Gallery & Library

Save our Cinema, Art Gallery & Library
Why this petition matters
We are all devastated that the Myall107 centre has now been condemned by the WDRC. From Dalby having a functional library, cinema, art gallery & public space, Dalby now has none of these things.
The worst-case scenario is that the land is left vacant and sold to a developer, leaving Dalby without any amenties, or a poor imitation of what we already had.
Given Mayor Paul McVeigh's commitment to "work with the community to come up with a solution", this petition calls on the WDRC Councillors to:
* Guarantee that the Myall 107 (107 Drayton Street) land will not be sold and will be used for public amenities
* Guarantee that Dalby will have a council-funded library, art gallery and cinema of no lesser standard than what we had.
Facilities like this make our town more liveable and enjoyable. We have all felt their absence or reduction since the initial closure. Please help us make sure the WDRC & councillors understand how important this issue is to us by signing this petition.
