Kings Park in Perth, Western Australia, is an iconic venue visited by 100s and thousands of people p.a.  It is also used by 10s of thousands of Perth locals to walk, play, picnic, meet, view, ride and run, given its close proximity to the city and surrounding suburbs, and its wonderful parklands.

However, the road quality inside the park is extremely poorly e.g. undulating from tree root damage, pot holes, low quality grade bitchumen etc, which is a danger to both motorists and cyclists alike.  Further, there is no lighting inside the park itself, making it dangerous for those locals who like to exercise in the morning or at night during the year.

Given the wide use by tour operators, locals, motorists etc - It's time to lift the road quality to match the iconic nature of the park, so that it can be enjoyed even more.
