I'm was fortunate to be an ex student of Perth Modern School and would not like to see others denied attendance at such an amazing school.

I strongly disagree with the government's proposal to relocate Perth Modern School. It is NOT a good idea! Please don't do this.

I am concerned that all great educational pillars are built on tradition and sense of belonging. Perth Modern has that, why take it away?!

With year 7 students now in high schools, the kids are 11 - 18 years of age. These sharp young minds are contained within young bodies that need space outdoors, to run, to play, to socialise. The environment of this school cannot be contained within an inner-city, high-rise development.

My daughter has a chance from her GATE result to get in to Perth Modern School on 2018. I don't like the idea of students having a high rise building school. So, definitely "NO" !

I do not think it is properly to have school near Northbridge.
Kids need to play and fresh air when they are in school. Most of them will be in high rise when they start working.Let them enjoy fresh air while they can.

The alternative to school children in a high rise building is absurd and unacceptable

My daughter was fortunate enough to attend Perth Modern after sitting the entrance exam and has since graduated and is excelling at UWA. Her time at Perth Mod was nothing short of a life changing and brilliant 5 years and I will be forever grateful to both the teachers and the culture and ethos of the school. I have no doubt that moving the school would be nothing short of intellectual vandalism and political expediency on the part of the Government. It's not a sign of weakness to say you made a mistake; so say you've made one in regard to this awful decision and leave Perth Modern where it is to do the job it does so very well - provide gifted and talent children with an all inclusive and supportive environment in which to thrive, excel and go forward into a future the whole country and the world can be proud of and benefit from.
