Danielle Traverso started this petition to Westbury Manor and

My fiancé Ryan and I were set to be married on Friday, April 3, 2020 and now that is not happening due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On March 18th I started to contact my venue and different vendors to see what my options could possibly be. When I finally received a call back 3 days later I was offered absurd alternate dates so I then asked for a refund of my deposits that were made totaling $11,000 and was told that’s not their policy. I read the contract multiple times and clearly a pandemic is not in the contract.

I then reached out to my DJ/photographer/videographer who we had paid in full the week prior to be told they will only give back 50% of what we gave them if we do not postpone.

Our limo and photobooth companies also will not refund our deposits.

My fiancé and I are both laid off at the moment with no knowledge of when we will even see an unemployment check and it sickens me that these well established businesses are holding our money that we so desperately need in the coming months.

My family and I are completely devastated we cannot celebrate our wedding that we had spent months planning and now even more devastated on how we are being treated.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all brides in the same situation.
